Spanish
Steps has been providing walking holidays and adventures in
Andalucia since 1995. Our guided holidays are
suitable for singles, couples and groups of friends. Guests are likely
to be regular walkers or fit from other activities. Each holiday is of
seven night duration but may be extended by adding other
options. The holidays are the result of years of personal experience
walking in the Parques Natural of Andalucia. All are high in content
and value, with
most guests coming by way of recommendation or repeat visits.
The
main ingredients for our guided walking holidays are : -
|
- Accommodation
with character, either in our delightful village house in Cómpeta or in carefully chosen rural hotels.

daily walks of around 5 - 6 hours led by Spanish speaking British

The Silk Trail - From the Sierras to the sea
This unique linear walk traces old
paths established a thousand years ago when the Axarquia was a main
silk producing region. The ' trail
' walks the length of the south facing slopes of the Sierra Tejeda
and Sierra Almijara, connecting villages on the way. It
starts high in the sierras to the west and ends in the east
where the mountains dramatically drop to the Mediterranean.
Accommodation for the holiday is in small rural hotels with en-suite rooms.
