When
to come
Andalucia has the sunniest climate in Europe. In
all but the hot mid-summer months conditions and
temperatures for walking are generally good for
walking. Click on weather map for current 10 day
forecast for Malaga and then Climate for monthly
statistics. (Please note that inland mountain
areas can be a few degrees cooler and sometimes
wetter) |

Walking
Standards
We have classifed all our Andalucia walking
holidays as Level 2. Daily
walking times for these holidays are generally 5-
6* hours including breaks with a maximum ascent
on some days of 600 metres. The paths are
sometimes rocky underfoot but not dangerous or
precipitous. There are no 'route marches' and
there is always time to enjoy the scenery, flora
and fauna.
*Walks may be shortened in the warmer months. On
some holidays we offer optional extensions up to
Level 3 with a maximum walking time of 6
hours excluding breaks. |
