Cultural Walking
Tours
"The Cities of
Andalucia" are a popular
destination for a host of package tour and
promotional companies.
In our travels we see large groups being herded
into buses or following unintelligible guides
with their umbrellas, daffodils or other forms of
identification held high. The more independent
traveller can hire a car and, with guide book in
hand, visit the sights and search out hotels.
With both types of holiday, much can be missed
and valuable time wasted. With our local
knowledge, contacts and ten years of experience
in Andalucia, Spanish Steps is able to
offer informative, interesting and enjoyabl
'special interest' and tailor-made holidays to
the discerning traveller. The ingredients for the
holidays are:- |
- Good
accommodation in hotels that
reflect the character and charm of
Andalucia.
- Excellent
food and wine with all meals
taken at carefully chosen local
restaurants.
- Dedicated
transport to and from airports
and throughout the holiday.
|
- Imaginative
and fully reserched routes and
activities.
- Well-informed
Spanish speaking British guide dedicated
to the group.
- Small
groups of up to fourteen guests
to ensure holidays are personalised and
enjoyable.

Cultural
Walking Tours
Our tours are based on The
Routes of al-Andalus, a series of recognised
cultural itineraries that follow the rise and
fall of Islamic Spain. They offer historical and
cultural explorations of Andalucia,
together with gentle walks in delightful and
interesting rural locations.
The first of these tours follows the "
Route the Caliphate " with 2
nights in Cordoba, 3 nights in
the Subbetica Parque
Natural and 2 nights in Granada.
The holidays are run on scheduled dates
throughout the year.
